കേന്ദ്ര വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിൻ്റെ കീഴിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു വരുന്ന ഓട്ടോണമസ് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് National Institute of Technology Goa. 2010 ൽ പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിച്ച NIT Goa, പനാജിയിൽ നിന്നും 29 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയുള്ള ഫാർമഗുഡി എന്ന സ്ഥലത്താണ് താൽകാലികമായി സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ലക്ഷ്യം വച്ചുകൊണ്ട് പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിച്ച NIT ഗോവയിൽ 5 പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട ഡിപ്പാർട്മെൻ്റുകളാണുള്ളത്. അധികം വൈകാതെ തന്നെ കുങ്കോലിംമിലുള്ള തങ്ങളുടെ പുതിയ ക്യാമ്പസ്സിൽ NIT ഗോവ പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിക്കും.
