ഡിപ്ലോമ ഇൻ മെഡിക്കൽ ഇമേജിംഗ് ടെക്നോളജി ഒരു ഡിപ്ലോമ മെഡിക്കൽ ലാബ് കോഴ്‌സാണ്. മെഡിക്കൽ ഇമേജിംഗ് ടെക്നോളജി എന്നത് രോഗങ്ങളെ തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നതിനും ക്ലിനിക്കൽ വിശകലനത്തിനും മെഡിക്കൽ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾക്കുമായി ശരീരത്തിന്റെ ആന്തരിക ഭാഗത്തിന്റെ ദൃശ്യ ചിത്രങ്ങൾ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്ന പ്രക്രിയയാണ്. റേഡിയോ ഇമേജിംഗ് ഉപകരണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളും കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നതിൽ കൃത്യവും പ്രായോഗികവുമായ അറിവ് നേടുന്നതിന് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ പ്രാപ്തരാക്കുന്നതിനും ബയോഫിസിക്കൽ, ഹെൽത്ത് സയൻസുകളിൽ വിശാലമായ അറിവ് നൽകുന്നതിനും കോഴ്‌സ് സഹായിക്കുന്നു . ഒരു യോഗ്യതയുള്ള ഡയഗ്നോസ്റ്റിക് റേഡിയോഗ്രാഫർ ആകുന്നതിന് ആവശ്യമായ സൈദ്ധാന്തിക പഠനങ്ങളും ക്ലിനിക്കൽ പരിശീലനവും കോഴ്‌സിൽ അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു. കോഴ്‌സ് പാസായ ശേഷം ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രികളിലും സർക്കാർ ആശുപത്രികളിലും അനേകം ജോലി സാദ്ധ്യതകൾ ഉണ്ട്.
