ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് സയൻസ് എജ്യുക്കേഷൻ ആൻഡ് റിസർച്ച് (IISERs) ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഒരു പ്രധാന പൊതു ഗവേഷണ സ്ഥാപനമാണ്. ബിരുദതലത്തിൽ ഗവേഷണത്തോടൊപ്പം അടിസ്ഥാന ശാസ്ത്രത്തിലും കൊളീജിയറ്റ് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നൽകുന്നതിനായി മാനവ വിഭവശേഷി വികസന മന്ത്രാലയം (എംഎച്ച്ആർഡി) വഴി ഇന്ത്യാ ഗവൺമെന്റ് സ്ഥാപിച്ചതാണ് ഈ സ്ഥാപനം . നാഷണൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ടെക്‌നോളജി, സയൻസ് എജ്യുക്കേഷൻ ആൻഡ് റിസർച്ച് (ഭേദഗതി) ആക്റ്റ്, 2010 (2007ലെ നാഷണൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ടെക്‌നോളജി ആക്‌റ്റിന്റെ ഭേദഗതി) വഴിയാണ് ഈ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ ഔപചാരികമായി ഇന്ത്യൻ പാർലമെന്റ് സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്.ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് സയൻസ് എഡ്യൂക്കേഷൻ ആൻഡ് റിസർച്ച്, ഭോപ്പാൽ(IISER-B അല്ലെങ്കിൽ IISER - ഭോപ്പാൽ) ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മധ്യപ്രദേശിലെ ഭോപ്പാൽ ജില്ലയിലെ ഭൗരിയിലുള്ള ഒരു സ്വയംഭരണ പൊതു സർവ്വകലാശാലയാണ്. ബിരുദതലത്തിലും ബിരുദതലത്തിലും അടിസ്ഥാന ശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ ഗവേഷണം സംയോജിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി 2008-ൽ ഇന്ത്യാ ഗവൺമെന്റിന്റെ മാനവ വിഭവശേഷി വികസന മന്ത്രാലയം ഇത് സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. ഗവേഷണത്തിനും ശാസ്ത്രത്തിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനും ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിന് തുല്യ പ്രാധാന്യം നൽകി. സ്വന്തം ബിരുദങ്ങൾ നൽകുന്ന ഒരു സ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനമാണിത്.
Programmes offered
1.Bachelor of Science - Master of Science (BS-MS) Dual Degree
- BS-MS (Dual Degree) Programme is offered in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth & Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics
Entrance Examamination
- Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) basic science stream.
- Joint Entrance Exam (Advanced): Students securing a place in the rank list of Joint Entrance Examination for Admission to IITs.
- State and Central boards: Students eligible for INSPIRE scholarship from Department of Science and Technology (DST) on the basis of their scores in class XII after clearing an aptitude test.
Scholarship
- KVPY scholars admitted to IISER-Bhopal will draw fellowship as per KVPY norms. In addition, a limited number of INSPIRE scholarships will be available for candidates admitted through JEE advanced and SCB channel as per the norms prescribed by DST INSPIRE scheme.

Eligibility
- IISER Bhopal offers four years BS Programme for bright and motivated science students who have passed (10+2) with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
3.Integrated Doctoral Programme (Integrated PhD)
- The Institute offers Integrated PhD programme in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. A prospective candidate should have completed a graduate programme (B.Sc./B.Tech./B.E.) in a discipline relevant to his/her choice of Integrated PhD programme.
Entrance Examination
- Candidates seeking admission in Mathematics and Chemistry should have a valid JAM score and candidates seeking admission in Physics should have a valid JEST score.
4.Doctoral Programme (PhD)
Institute offers PhD programmes in the following disciplines:

Eligibility
- A prospective candidate should have completed a postgraduate programme (M.S./M.Sc./M.Tech./MBBS) in a discipline relevant to his/her choice of PhD programme along with qualifying a national entrance exam.
Entrance Examination
- Students should have a valid rank in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and/or have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET)/Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-Junior Research Fellowship (CSIR-JRF), University Grants Commission-Junior Research Fellowship (UGC-JRF) or other equivalent examinations.
