Overview
നാഷണൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ടെക്നോളജി കർണാടക, സൂറത്ത്കൽ, ഇന്ത്യയിലെ കർണാടക സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ മംഗലാപുരം നഗരത്തിലാണ് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് 1960-ൽ കർണാടക റീജിയണൽ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജ് (കെആർഇസി) ആയി സ്ഥാപിതമായി, 2002-ൽ നാഷണൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ടെക്നോളജി കർണാടക (എൻഐറ്റികെ) ആയി അപ്ഗ്രേഡ് ചെയ്തു. ദക്ഷിണ കന്നഡയിലെ തീരദേശ ജില്ലയുടെ ആസ്ഥാനമാണ് മംഗലാപുരം, കൂടാതെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിന്റെയും ബിസിനസ്സിന്റെയും ഒരു പ്രധാന കേന്ദ്രമാണ്.
