Course Introduction:

എം.എ ആർക്കിയോളജി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മാസ്റ്റർ ഓഫ് ആർട്സ് ഇൻ ആർക്കിയോളജി ഒരു ബിരുദാനന്തര ആർക്കിയോളജി കോഴ്‌സാണ്. സൈറ്റുകളുടെ ഉത്ഖനനത്തിലൂടെയും പുരാവസ്തുക്കളുടെ വിശകലനത്തിലൂടെയും മനുഷ്യ ചരിത്രത്തെയും ചരിത്രാതീതത്തെയും കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനമാണ് ആർക്കിയോളജി. ക്ലാസിക്കുകൾ, കലാചരിത്രം, നരവംശശാസ്ത്രം, ചരിത്രം എന്നിവ പോലുള്ള ഒന്നോ അതിലധികമോ മേഖലകളിൽ മതിയായ പശ്ചാത്തലം ലഭിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് ഉറപ്പ് നൽകിക്കൊണ്ട് ആർക്കിയോളജിക്കൽ മെറ്റീരിയലുകളുടെയും സന്ദർഭത്തിൻ്റെയും വീണ്ടെടുക്കൽ, വിശകലനം, വ്യാഖ്യാനം എന്നിവയിൽ ഉചിതമായ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും പരിശീലനവും പ്രോഗ്രാം നൽകുന്നു.
