Overview

- The Department of Horticulture was established under North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) during 1978 and in 1986, the department started post-graduate program with an intake of 5 (five) students. Presently, the department has four disciplines, namely, Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Floriculture and Landscaping and Plantation, Spices, Medicinal and Aromatic (PSMA).
