Course Introduction:

ITI  Footwear Maker എന്ന ഈ കോഴ്സ് NCVT യുടെ കീഴിൽ നടത്തപെടുന്ന ഒന്നാണ്. വളരെ ജോബ് ഓറിയൻറ്റ്ഡ് ആയിട്ടുള്ള ഒരു കോഴ്‌സാണിത്, ഗവണ്മെൻ്റ് & പ്രൈവറ്റ് ജോലികൾക്കു മാത്രമല്ല സ്വയം തൊഴിൽ അഭ്യസിക്കുന്നതിനും ഈ കോഴ്സ് വളരെ അതികം ഉപകാരപ്പെടുന്നു. ഈ കോഴ്‌സിനു ഒരു വർഷത്തെ (02 സെമസ്റ്റർ) കാലാവധിയാണ് ഉള്ളത്. ഇതിൽ പ്രധാനമായും ഡൊമെയ്ൻ ഏരിയയും കോർ ഏരിയയും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. ഡൊമെയ്ൻ ഏരിയ (ട്രേഡ് തിയറി & പ്രാക്ടിക്കൽ) പ്രൊഫഷണൽ കഴിവുകളും അറിവും നൽകുന്നു, അതേസമയം കോർ ഏരിയ (എംപ്ലോയബിലിറ്റി സ്കിൽ) ആവശ്യമായ പ്രധാന കഴിവുകളും അറിവും ജീവിത നൈപുണ്യവും നൽകുന്നു.  കാലുകൾക്കു വൈകല്യമുള്ള ഉപഭോക്താക്കൾ‌ക്കായി, പ്രധാനമായും ലെതർ‌ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് പാദരക്ഷകൾ‌ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള അറിവും കഴിവുകളും ഒരു ഷൂ മേക്കർ‌ ഓർത്തോപെഡിക് ആയി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന വ്യക്തിക്ക് ഉണ്ടാകും, ഡ്രോയിംഗുകൾ പഠിക്കാനും പാറ്റേണുകൾ തയ്യാറാക്കാനും മെറ്റീരിയലുകൾ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കാനും നിർമ്മിച്ച പാറ്റേണുകൾ അനുസരിച്ച് ഭാഗങ്ങൾ മുറിക്കാനും കഴിയും. അപ്പർ, ലൈനിംഗ്, സോൾ മുതലായ വ്യത്യസ്ത ഘടകങ്ങൾ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നതിന് ആവശ്യമായ മെറ്റീരിയൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത് കണക്കാക്കുക, ലെതർ ഘടകങ്ങൾ പാറ്റേണുകൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് അടയാളപ്പെടുത്തി കത്തി (റാപ്പി) ഉപയോഗിച്ച് മുറിക്കുക, തുടങ്ങിയ മേഖലകളിൽ എല്ലാം അറിവ് നേടുവാൻ ഈ കോഴ്സ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ സഹായിക്കുന്നു.
