Course Introduction:
രണ്ട് വർഷത്തെ കാലാവധിയുള്ള ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദമാണ് മാസ്റ്റർ ഓഫ് സോഷ്യൽ വർക്ക്. ഈ കോഴ്‌സ് വിജയകരമായ ഒരു ജീവിതം നയിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവരെ സഹായിക്കുക മാത്രമല്ല, ആളുകളുടെയും സമൂഹത്തിൻ്റെയും മൊത്തത്തിലുള്ള നന്മയ്ക്കായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുമ്പോൾ സമൂഹത്തെ സേവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഒരു സാമൂഹ്യ പ്രവർത്തകൻ എക്കാലത്തെയും മികച്ച തൊഴിലുകളിൽ ഒന്നാണ്. അവർ സമൂഹത്തിനായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും അവരുടെ കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റിയുടെ മൊത്തത്തിലുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനം വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഈ കോഴ്‌സിന് വളരെയധികം ക്ഷമ, പ്രവർത്തന നൈതികത, സമാനുഭാവം, നിസ്വാർത്ഥത എന്നിവ ആവശ്യമാണെന്ന് അഭിലാഷികൾ ഓർമ്മിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ആളുകളുടെ മുഖത്ത് പുഞ്ചിരി വിടർത്തുന്നുവെന്ന് ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്ന ഒരു തൊഴിലാണിത്. ഈ കോഴ്‌സ് പ്രധാനമായും വ്യക്തികളുമായും ഗ്രൂപ്പുകളുമായും പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതാണ്; കുടുംബവും ശിശുക്ഷേമവും; പേഴ്‌സണൽ മാനേജ്‌മെന്റും കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി ഡവലപ്‌മെന്റും; വ്യാവസായിക ബന്ധങ്ങൾ; മെഡിക്കൽ, സൈക്യാട്രിക് സോഷ്യൽ വർക്ക്. ഫീൽഡ് വർക്ക് പ്രാക്ടിക്കത്തിലൂടെ പ്രായോഗിക കഴിവുകൾ സമ്പുഷ്ടമാക്കുന്ന രീതിയിലാണ് ഈ ബിരുദം രൂപകൽപ്പന ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.എം‌എ സോഷ്യൽ വർക്കിന് കീഴിൽ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്ന സിലബസിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ് കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറിലെ പല അടിസ്ഥാന കാര്യങ്ങളും.
Course Eligibility:
- The candidates should possess a relevant bachelor’s degree from any recognized institution in the nation.
- Some institutions prefer honors bachelor's degrees from the allied discipline.
- Minimum marks to be secured in UG could start as low as 50% onwards.
