Course Introduction:
വിഷ്വൽ സിസ്റ്റത്തിന്റെ രോഗങ്ങൾ, വൈകല്യങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയുടെ പരിശോധന, രോഗനിർണയം, ചികിത്സ, എന്നിവ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ആരോഗ്യ പരിപാലന തൊഴിലാണ് ഒപ്റ്റോമെട്രി. ഇത് ഒരു വിഷൻ കെയർ സയൻസാണ്.കണ്ണ്, കാഴ്ച സംരക്ഷണം എന്നിവയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ഒരു ആരോഗ്യ സംരക്ഷണ മേഖലയാണ് ഒപ്റ്റോമെട്രി. ഒപ്‌റ്റോമെട്രിസ്റ്റുകൾ പ്രാഥമിക ആരോഗ്യപരിചരണ പ്രാക്‌ടീഷണർമാരാണ്, അവരുടെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തങ്ങളിൽ റിഫ്രാക്ഷൻ, ഡിസ്‌പെൻസിംഗ്, കണ്ണിന്റെ അവസ്ഥകൾ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതിനും കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നതിനും സഹായിക്കൽ, വിഷ്വൽ സിസ്റ്റത്തിന്റെ അവസ്ഥകളുടെ വിലയിരുത്തൽ എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. കൂടാതെ കാഴ്ച ,സ്ക്രീനിംഗ് (കണ്ണ് പരിശോധന), കാഴ്ച പ്രശ്നങ്ങളുടെ രോഗനിർണയം, ഓർത്തോട്ടിക്സ്, , ഭാഗിക കാഴ്ച, വർണ്ണാന്ധത, പാരമ്പര്യ കാഴ്ച വൈകല്യമുള്ള രോഗികളുടെ ഒപ്‌റ്റോമെട്രിക് കൗൺസലിംഗ്, കണ്ണട, കോൺടാക്റ്റ് ലെൻസ്, ലോ വിഷൻ എയ്ഡ്സ് എന്നിവയുടെ രൂപകൽപ്പനയും ഫിറ്റിംഗും കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നു.വളരെ സാദ്ധ്യതകൾ ഉള്ള മേഖലയാണ് ഇത് .
Course Eligibility:
- സയൻസ് സ്ട്രീമിൽ SSLC, Plus two അല്ലെങ്കിൽ തത്തുല്യ പരീക്ഷ പാസായിരിക്കണം.പ്രവേശന എക്സയിലെ വ്യക്തിയുടെ പ്രകടനത്തെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയാണ് ബിഎസ്സി ഒപ്റ്റോമെട്രി പ്രവേശനം അനുവദിക്കുന്നത്.
