സർക്കാർ ആരംഭിച്ച ഐഐടികളുടെ രണ്ടാം തലമുറകളിലൊന്നാണ് ഐഐടി ഹൈദരാബാദ്. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ. ഇന്ന് IITH 11 B.Tech പ്രോഗ്രാമുകൾ, 1 B.Des പ്രോഗ്രാം, 3 M.Sc പ്രോഗ്രാമുകൾ, 18 M.Tech പ്രോഗ്രാമുകൾ, 1 M.Des പ്രോഗ്രാം, 1 MA പ്രോഗ്രാം, 15 Ph.D എന്നിവ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു. എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ്, സയൻസ്, ലിബറൽ ആർട്ട്സ്, ഡിസൈൻ എന്നിവയുടെ എല്ലാ ശാഖകളിലെയും പ്രോഗ്രാമുകൾ. ഐഐടി ഹൈദരാബാദ് 9 വ്യത്യസ്ത വകുപ്പുകളിലായി വിദേശ പൗരന്മാർക്ക് 2 വർഷത്തെ എം.ടെക് പ്രോഗ്രാം വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഐഐടി ഹൈദരാബാദിന്റെ അടിത്തറ തന്നെ ഗവേഷണത്തിലും നവീകരണത്തിലും അധിഷ്ഠിതമാണ്. ഐഐടിഎച്ചിന്റെ പേറ്റന്റുകളുടെയും പ്രസിദ്ധീകരണങ്ങളുടെയും എണ്ണത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഊർജസ്വലമായ ഗവേഷണ സംസ്കാരം വ്യക്തമാണ്.
