Programmes Offered
1.B.A. LL.B (Hons) -5 years
Eligibility
- National Law University Delhi offers B.A.LLB. (H) at the undergraduate level with a duration of 5 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into B.A.LL.B. (H) is Plus two and candidates are selected based on merit in an entrance examination.EligibilityA Pass in Plus two or an equivalent examination with a minimum of:Forty Five percent (45%) of marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/PWD categories andForty percent (40%) of marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
Entrance Examination
- The candidate will have to appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) to secure admission to the programmeEntrance Test (AILET) conducted every year by the University
2. LL.M
Eligibility
- Candidate should have passed the LL.B or an equivalent degree from a recognised University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of reserved categories)The admission for Foreign Nationals shall be made on the basis of:Academic record of LL.B. or equivalent Degree recognized by UGC/ Association of Indian Universities with not less than 55% marks or equivalent grade.Assessment of necessary communication skills in written and spoken English and performance at the interview terms of aptitude and capacityEntrance Examination

3. LL.M. (Professional)
Eligibility
- The basic eligibility for getting admission into LL.M. (Professional) is Graduation and candidates are selected based on merit in the qualifying examination.EligibilityAdmission into the LL.M. (Professional) at National Law University, candidates must have passed Graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks or has had professional experience will be eligible to enroll for the program.
4. Ph.D
Eligibility
- The basic eligibility for getting admission into Ph.D. is Post Graduation and candidates are selected based on merit in an entrance examination.EligibilityCandidates must have a Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks or equivalentCandidates must have a Master’s with M.Phil in Social Sciences or Humanities at least 55% marks or equivalentCandidates holding a position as a Judge of any State High Court in India with 3 years experience or Judge of Supreme Court of India are also eligible for admission to the Ph.D.
