പി ജി കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒരു വിദ്യര്‍ത്ഥിക്കാണ് പാത്തോള‍‍ജിയില്‍ പി എച്ച് ഡി എടുക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുക .രോഗത്തെ ക്കുറിച്ചും രോഗകാരണത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുമുള്ള വിശദമായ പഠനം എങ്ങനെ നടത്താം എന്ന് പി എച്ച് ഡി ചെയ്യുന്നതിലൂടെ ഒരു വിദ്യര്‍ത്ഥിക്കു മനസിലാക്കാം .രോഗത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനവും അന്വേഷണവുമാണ് പി.എച്ച്.ഡി. ഇൻ പാത്തോളജി. ബയോമെഡിക്കൽ സയൻസിന്റെ എല്ലാ ഭാഗങ്ങളും സംയോജിപ്പിച്ച് രോഗ പ്രക്രിയകളെ കൂടുതൽ മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നതിനും തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നതിനും രോഗനിർണയം, പ്രതിരോധം, ചികിത്സ എന്നിവയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കാര്യങ്ങൾ പഠിക്കുന്നതിനും ഈ കോഴ്സ് സഹായകരമാണ് .രോഗപ്രക്രിയകളെ കൂടുതൽ മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നതിനും രോഗനിർണയം, പ്രതിരോധം, ചികിത്സ എന്നിവയ്ക്കുള്ള മാർഗ്ഗങ്ങൾ വികസിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും ബയോമെഡിക്കൽ സയൻസിന്റെ എല്ലാ വശങ്ങളും സമന്വയിപ്പിക്കുന്ന രോഗങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനമാണ് പാത്തോളജി.
